2002 E. D. Thomas Fellow Chosen Dr. Emmanuelle Passegué of Stanford University was chosen as the 2002 recipient of the E. D. Thomas Fellowship award. Her research compares the gene expression profile of leukemic cells from a given origin, to normal hematopoietic stem cells and committed myeloid progenitors, using mouse models of human myeloid leukemia.
