2000 & 2001 Financial Statement

At the 2000 Friends Board Meeting, a decision was made by the Board of Directors to change our fiscal year from January through December, to July through June. This change is in keeping with an academic fiscal year calendar, and it facilitates the pro bono support of our Accountants, Tremper & Co., LLP, to occur during a time of the year other than tax season. Thus, as you will see below, the financial review for fiscal year 2000 is January through December, 2000, and the review for fiscal year 2001 is January through June, 2001. Fiscal year 2002 began July 1, 2001 and will end June 30, 2002. These fiscal year designations affect only the record keeping and tax filing for the Foundation. Annual records of individual donations will still be kept according to a January through December calendar year, to facilitate the filing of personal taxes.
